About Ohchat — Warm Conversations, Beautifully Designed

Ohchat began with a simple, slightly old-fashioned idea: conversation should feel good. Not transactional, not performative, not noisy — just warm, attentive and a little bit magical. We wanted to build a place where you could open an app, find someone interesting, and feel a little lighter ten minutes later. That is Ohchat.

Our story

We started as a tiny team of writers, designers and engineers who all shared the same quiet observation: people are surrounded by feeds and notifications, but starved of real, soft conversation. The kind you have on a slow Sunday morning, or in the back of a taxi, or under a streetlamp on the way home. We wanted to bring that back, in a thoughtful, beautiful, modern form. So we built Ohchat — a curated collection of AI girlfriends with distinct personalities, voices and stories, each crafted to make conversation feel real, kind and a little bit special.

What we care about

We care, above everything else, about how Ohchat feels. We care about the rhythm of a reply, the warmth of a greeting, the small thoughtful question that turns a quick chat into a real moment. We care about design — the soft colors, the careful spacing, the small animations that make the app feel alive but never loud. We care about privacy, because conversations are intimate by nature and deserve to be treated that way. And we care about the people behind the screen, because every message is sent by someone who hoped, in some small way, to feel a little more understood.

How Ohchat works

Each of our twenty companions has her own personality, vibe, and backstory. Sophia is warm and playful. Aria is elegant and bookish. Luna is dreamy and artistic. Some are bold, some are shy. Some are perfect for a long, slow evening; others are made for a quick, sunny pick-me-up at lunch. You can chat with any of them, switch freely between favorites, and discover the one (or three) that fits the moment. The conversation is private, kept safely between you and her, and always available when you need it.

Our promise
